Liz Lapan
Client Relationship Manager
“The process of planning an event should be flawless from start to finish – timely, organized, and helpful. The trick is to allow the client to feel comfortable and confident that we will be there until the party is over, making every effort to provide impeccable service.”
When it comes to fielding emails, building out event menus, and scheduling tastings, Liz’s role with The White Apron has really come from her desire to help owner, Jay Curcio streamline and improve his business. Managing clients involves attention to detail, constantly asking questions, and being ready to make event and service changes at the absolute last minute so that client’s know that The White Apron team is ready for anything.
Having pursued both business and art history degrees from the University of New Hampshire, and being a product of an entrepreneurial driven mother, Liz enjoys the role she plays at The White Apron because it melds her love of food with her work ethic, interpersonal skills and attention to detail. No detail is ever too small, and with wedding catering especially, her role often becomes one of an educator, helping clients understand how and why things typically happen as they do, how to ensure that guests have the ultimate experience at their events, and ensuring that the food created by The White Apron is always the star! It often comes down to the wire – organizing last minute changes the morning of an event, but the most satisfying part of the job for her is opening The White Apron’s inbox on a Monday during wedding season and finding notes from clients with rave reviews over their experience. There’s nothing better than knowing that you not only played an integral role in helping to plan one of the most important events of someone’s life, but that it was done successfully – and this is what drives Liz even through the busiest periods in The White Apron’s catering calendar.
